Over the two days of the show, the workshops and projections organised by AllEvents Group will illustrate the technology, potential and use of 3D as a means of expression, communication and interaction with the audience.
Nine short workshops, each lasting around half an hour, will reproduce the experience of a convention in 3D, recounting its languages, means of expression and emotional value. AllEvents Group offers special tutoring to show how and when to use 3D technology, which only became available at affordable prices in Italy relatively recently.
“3D was created for entertainment purposes, but we try to stress that this tool should be used not because of its sensational qualities, but because it helps achieve communication objectives, highlight a message, and convey content in an emotional, and often functional, way” says Ferdinando Cocucci, Creative Director of AllEvents Group. “The workshops that we are organising at BTC are designed for groups of approximately 20 people, just the right number to enable us to talk effectively with the participants and explain to them on what occasions it is appropriate to use 3D and when it is not, what results can be obtained depending on the event’s purpose, and how to maximise the technology’s potential in order to ensure a high degree of interaction with the audience. 3D is a real language, whose fundamentals need to be mastered if it is to be exploited to the full”.
“Technology is one of the key elements that will shape the meetings industry of the future” says Gabriella Ghigi, Exhibition Manager of BTC. "These workshops are centred on a highly-innovative technological tool, and are in line with an educational programme focused on innovation and extended to all the issues of interest to industry professionals".
During the workshops/projections, the AllEvents Group team will show videosproduced in 3D, the effects of a traditional video projected into a three-dimensional space, 3D slides that can be used as speaker support, and how 2D slides can be combined in an environment consisting of objects, written text and even people projected three-dimensionally. The possibilities are manifold, the technology versatile, the language all to be discovered: book a place at 3Dna: the language of wonders.
